About Executive Board:
The members of the Executive Board are the officers of the Association. They are elected by the entire student body and serve a one-year term. The Executive Board carries out the goals of the Association and the decisions of the Council.

The Executive Board carries out the purposes of FITSA and the decisions of the Council. They are elected to act on behalf of the Council whenever it is not possible to convene and consult the Council. They prepare the FITSA budget to be submitted to the Council for approval and approve final decisions regarding additional budget allocations upon request. The board is allowed to withdraw funds from or deny funds to an organization or club that has not used its funds for the purposes they were allocated. They are to represent FITSA and its members to the faculty and administration and make regular reports to the Council.

What I do
As FITSA President I serve as the student representative on the FIT’s Board of Trustees. I set weekly agenda for the FITSA Executive Board meetings. I also chair the weekly meetings as well as organize and chair monthly Student Council meetings.
A little about me
I love sports! I swim and snowboard a.k.a plowing down the mountain. I also love that FIT has clubs devoted to my interests.

1st Vice President:Emily Tsen
Major: ITM, 5th semester
Hometown:Marlboro, NJ

What I do
I am the liaison between the FITSA Executive Board and the clubs. I conduct the annual club advisors and presidents meeting, I keep up to date files on clubs, and I work on Club Forums.
A little about me
Cooking, traveling, reading, playing tennis are a few amonst many random things that I enjoy. I love how different and creative our student body is.FYI Basically anything FITSA plans is fun : )

Secretary:Hetal Sanghvi
Major:Fashion Merchandising Management, semester 6
Hometown:Mumbai, India. Currently in Newport, NJ

What I do
As secretary I am responsible for keeping records for both the Executive Board and monthly Student Council. I also have the wonderful task of preparing agendas and taking minutes for these meetings.
A little about me
I love to dance and eat. FITSA events are my favorite at FIT, especially Ms FIT and Block party, you cannot miss these events! I love Harry Potter.

What I Do
As Treasurer I am responsible for overseeing and processing all fiscal transactions for more than 75 clubs and organizations sponsored and funded by FITSA.

What I do
I am the liaison between the FITSA Executive Board and the clubs. I conduct the annual club advisors and presidents meeting, I keep up to date files on clubs, and I work on Club Forums.
A little about me
love going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and anything related to fashion. I love the individuality at FIT. I love professional guest speakers and Ms FIT.

VP Commuter Affairs:Vernon Patrick
Major:Illustration, 5th semester
Hometown:Jamaica Queens, NY
What I do
I serve as a liaison between all commuter students and the Executive Board, FITSA, and the college administration. I also promote programs and activities to serve our commuter population.
A little about me
I love the positivity that is created with the efforts of FiTSA and all of FIT’s Clubs and organizations.Im also glad the LIRR is right around the corner because the night events are AMAZING!

V.P. of Residence Life:Rachel K Donohue
Major:AMC 3rd semester
Hometown:Old Bridge, New Jersey

What I do
As V.P. of Res. Life I preside over all meetings of the dorm council, I sit as a member,ex-officio of all committees of the dorm council, and serve as liaison between dorm residents, the administration, and the Faculty Association.
A little about me
I love hanging out with friends and anything to do with fashion. I loves FIT because I believe the teachers and staff are directly related to what I am studying. My favorite event is the FIT annual Block party which takes place in May.

VP of Student Affairs:Stephanie Friday

What I do
As V.P. of Student Affairs I am responsible for chairing the Faculty Association’s Student Affairs Committee.

Hobbies: Traveling, Comedy via Comedy clubs, friends that make me laugh, or comedian youtube clips What I love about FIT: The price the location and the variety of majors and concentrations. I Also love the networking and connections/ Favorite event on campus..MS. FIT…

VP of Programming:Sam Kloeckener
Major:Direct and Interactive Marketing/ 5th
Hometown:East Northport, NY

What I do
As V.P. of the psrogramming board I chair weekly meetings of the Programming Board. I also act as a liasion between each board and Student Life.
A little about me
I don’t have hobbies besides being involved in as much as possible on campus!
I love the amount and quality of the opportunities made available to our student population.
Best events include the Formal in May, and of course, MS. FIT- the annual drag queen pageant!

VP of Wellness: Melissa Keulmann
Majori:FMM, 7th Semester
Hometown:Wilmington, Delaware

What I do
As the VP of Wellness I act as the liaison between the Executive Board and the Athletics Department . I’m also responsible for representing the students health concerns. In addition I plan the yearly blood drive.
A little about me
My favorite events at FIT are bingo nights, murder mystery dinners, and Ms. FIT!

V.P. of Alumni Affairs:Anubhuti Swarup
Major: FMM/ 3rd semester
Hometown:Culver City, California

What I do
As V.P. of Alumni Affairs I serve as a liaison between the Alumni Association of FIT and the current students of the college. I also work with the Alumni Association and independently plan events and activities that bring to together students and alumni
A little about me
I am a writer, a reader, an artist, a dreamer, a swimmer, a dancer, a rockstar (compliments to my hair brush and closet mirror), a humanitarian, a vegetarian, an environmentalist, a hopeless romantic, a generally crazy but somewhat interesting girl who has fallen in love with New York City.
